“Do you need help with your math problem solving?”
Are you finding it increasingly difficult to help your child with their math work? Are you finding they are using different strategies and methods to do simple sums?
Are you worried they won't get a good job if they don't pass their mathematics exam?
Have you come to a dead end? Then, you have come to the right place.
Hi, my name is Rakiya and welcome to our math solving website.
Together, hopefully, we can sort out what you need to do, in order to solve that problem.
First and foremost, I want to make it clear that...
It IS possible to pass that exam.
You CAN develop the skills and confidence of a great Mathematician.
And you CAN do it in record time!
How do I know this?
Well, for a start I have been there.
I am partially deaf and hear rattling, sea waves, banging noises in my ears, commonly known as tinnitus.
With these two problems, I could never hear my teachers. To make matters worse I used to sit at the back. So, now you know why I...
Know how it feels to be stuck on some problem and feel completely hopeless.
Know how it feels to be stuck in class and be scared to put your hand up to ask for help.
Know how it feels when you can't ask your family, because you know they don't know any better.
But don't worry. Things get better, when you know how! I knew how and went on to achieve a very high level...a Masters degree. So, If I can do it, anyone can. (And just for the record, I am not particularly clever, the students on the right will tell you so!).
Mathematics is my passion
Its been a long and rewarding journey.
I have home tutored over 10 years and now I offer my expertise through math-problem-solving.com.
Here you will find a wealth of free information on different topics.
- And much more - relating to how to do mathematics and pass exams...
For immediate help:
1. Now, If you are stuck on a general problem, such as 'What's the sum of the angles in a triangle?' or 'How many sides does a pentagon have?' then you can search for it here, or in the glossary (In working progress).
2. Looking for something...Search for it here.
3. If all else fails then ask your question in the forum.
Its not cheating.
Trust me, you can read about it here and how I got to the top.
There are many reasons why it is so difficult, but just to name a few and make you feel better. If you didn't do too well, then:
1. Your teacher was probably rubbish, (Some teachers are rubbish, read my story 'what's two two's?'
2. Your teacher was good and you didn't apply yourself or
3. You're not all that (meaning clever)
I don't appreciate the last one, as this applies to me. But the truth hurts sometimes. The good side is..YOU DON"T HAVE TO BE CLEVER TO DO MATHS. I am not clever, just average. So take it from me.
You just have to apply a few skills to be able to do it.
I believe that everyone has the ability to do mathematics and sometimes it takes more than once to get it right. I have passed and failed many exams.
Even when I handed my thesis in for the first time...it failed.
But, I stood up and remembered, 'Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall' Confucious.
So, the morale of the story, keep going until you have got it. Follow the advice here and you will get the results you need.
