Math Cross Multiply Definition

Math Cross Multiply This is a term used to describe a process of simplifying equations using fractional terms.

So, if 6x5=2

We can cross multiply the 5 and 6 so that we get x=2×56

(In other words multiplying both sides of the equation by 5/6, cancels the numbers on the left)

So then x=123
