- The probability that a randomly chosen driver will be involved in an accident in a particular year is about 0.18. Suppose we take a SRS of 80 drivers and find the sample proportion, P^, that have had accidents that year.

A) What are the mean and the standard deviation of the sample proportion?

B) What is the approximate probability that the sample proportion of accidents is more than 24%?
