Word Problems, Grade 9

by Tami
(Canada)

Three children build towers using Lego blocks. Jamie's tower is 10 blocks taller than Peter's tower and twice as tall as Mark's. If jamies steals 4 blocks from Mark's tower and put them on his tower then Jamie's tower will be twice as tall as peters. How many blocks does each boy have in their tower after Jamies theft?

I have no idea how to go at this, please help. Please include working out so that i can understand how to redo it myself.

Thank you
